Cinema VinesSinger Adnan Sami has revealed that he has recorded a track for Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film, which remains untitled but is slated to release on December 4, 2026. The 57‑year‑old musician posted a photo on Instagram showing himself beside director Anees Bazmee and composer Anand Raaj Anand after a studio session, adding that they had a “blast” while recording.
In his caption, Sami wrote, “Just recorded a lovely song for an upcoming film of @akshaykumar, directed by the incredible @aneesbazmee with music composed by the fabulous @anandraajanandofficial. We had a blast during the recording session!” While no further details about the song were disclosed, the post confirmed Sami’s involvement and heightened excitement for the project.
The film, a big‑screen family entertainer, will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead, alongside Vidya Balan, Raashii Khanna, Vijay Raaz and Sudesh Lehri. It marks a reunion of Kumar and Balan, a pair that has delivered several box‑office successes over the years. Production is overseen by Shirish Reddy and Kuldeep Rathore, with Cape of Good Films and Sri Venkateswara Creations co‑producing. The venture is the 60th production of Sri Venkateswara Creations, led by producer Dil Raju.
Earlier this month, the crew wrapped a major shooting schedule in Kerala, and reports hinted that a new still featuring Kumar would be released as filming progressed. With the film’s release date set and the star‑studded cast confirmed, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the storyline and soundtrack.
