According to Singh, the actor was casually eating biryani while staring at himself in a mirror when a man in gloves appeared, drew a needle, and began injecting blood into Khan’s scalp. Singh watched the entire procedure from the mirror, bewildered, and later learned that the treatment was a Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy – a method that uses a person’s own blood plasma to combat hair loss. The actor, who has openly flaunted a bald look on social media, reportedly undergoes the procedure four times a year.
Shailendra described the moment as “illegal” in India, noting that he was unaware of the legal status of PRP at the time. He recounted that Salman, while continuing to eat, told the injector, “There’s a price to pay to be a star, bro,” implying that maintaining his star image requires such drastic measures. The incident, which took place during a routine Monday night gathering, has sparked curiosity about the lengths the actor will go to preserve his appearance.
In other news, Salman Khan is preparing for his next cinematic ventures. He is slated to star in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming film Maatrubhoomi, which also features Chitrangada Singh. The project, previously titled Battle of Galwan, has been renamed to broaden its narrative scope beyond a single military clash and to ease geopolitical tensions with China. Reports indicate that certain scenes are being reshot, though a release date has yet to be announced.
Additionally, the actor is set to appear in SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and backed by Dil Raju. The film is scheduled for an Eid 2027 release and is currently in production. These upcoming projects follow Khan’s recent Instagram post, where he showcased his toned physique alongside his bald head during a gym session, drawing attention to his continued focus on fitness and appearance.
