Cinema VinesAlanna Panday, the Bollywood‑inspired social media influencer and sister of actor Ahaan Panday, has announced that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Ivor McCray. The news was shared on Saturday through a dreamy Instagram video in which Alanna walks through a garden in a halter‑neck dress, holding her son River in the background of a castle. The clip ends with Alanna proudly showing off her baby bump, while Ivor joins her, holding River and gently caressing the belly. The couple also posted a sonogram photo with the caption “coming soon,” and Alanna added the caption “one more to love.”
Alanna’s announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from family and friends. Her mother, Deanne Panday, wrote, “Grandmaa for the second time. God bless you.” Ananya Panday, Alanna’s cousin, quickly reshared the video on her Instagram Story, adding red heart emojis and an evil eye emoji to express her excitement. Other well‑known figures such as Alizeh Agnihotri, Mrunal Thakur and Aliyah Kashyap also sent their well‑wishes to the couple.
Alanna, who is the daughter of Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday and fitness instructor Deanne Panday, first stepped into the spotlight with the 2024 Prime Video series “The Tribe,” a Karan Johar‑backed show that also featured Alfia Jafry, Aryaana Gandhi, Srushti Porey and Alaviaa Jaaferi. She married Ivor in a Hindu ceremony in Mumbai in March 2023, a wedding that drew a star‑studded guest list that included her cousin Ananya Panday, Chunky Panday, Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Jackie Shroff, Bobby Deol, Neelam Kothari, Mahima Chaudhry and Tusshar Kapoor.
The couple welcomed their first child, River, in 2024, and Alanna has spoken openly about the transformative experience of parenthood. In one of her videos she said, “It has truly been amazing. I don’t think anything can prepare you for the change your life is going to go through. I think you grow so much as a person when you start a family; there is so much more responsibility, and you learn a lot about yourself and what you’re capable of. Becoming a parent is one of the best things in life. The amount of love I have for my family is just beyond anything I thought was possible.”
With the announcement of their second baby, the couple’s growing family is set to welcome another little one, adding to the joy that has already surrounded Alanna and Ivor’s life together.
