Vijay Deverakonda, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Faria Abdullah Celebrate Bonalu with Fans; End of Bonalu Season in Telangana

As the Bonalu season drew to a close across Telangana, several Tollywood stars turned up in Hyderabad’s Old City to partake in the final celebrations and mingle with their fans. The festival, which began on July 16 at Golconda Fort, culminated in a series of rituals at the Lal Darwaza Mahankali temple, the Sri Mahankaleshwara temple in Miralam Mandi, and other historic sites in Secunderabad.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga were seen together at the Lal Darwaza Mahankali temple, where they offered prayers and shared a moment with devotees. Vijay addressed the crowd from a microphone, wishing everyone a Happy Bonalu and noting that it was his first time visiting the temple. He said, “I came along with director Sandeep, and his production house is named Bhadrakali. I sought the blessings of the Goddess and prayed that all your wishes would be fulfilled, and I also prayed for my wishes. I had a good darshan.” His brother Anand Deverakonda accompanied the pair, while Rashmika Mandanna was absent due to a hip injury.

Meanwhile, actress Faria Abdullah made a splash at the Miralam Mandi celebrations, dressed in a traditional pattu half‑saree and turban. She danced to dappu music alongside a man in a Pothuraju costume, both surrounded by cheering devotees. Other Tollywood personalities—including Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Manchu Manoj, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga—were also spotted at various temples, sharing the festive atmosphere with their fans.

Beyond the festivities, Vijay is currently shooting for the 2025 film Rowdy Janardhana with director Ravi Kiran Kola and actress Keerthy Suresh, and has a forthcoming project Ranabaali with filmmaker Rahul Sankrithyan that will reunite him with Rashmika after their wedding. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s recent work includes the 2023 hit Animal, which grossed ₹915 crore worldwide, and he is now working on Spirit with Prabhas, a film that faced controversy before production. Faria has starred in Gaayapadda Simham and will appear in Sigma, a debut directorial venture by Jason Sanjay featuring Sundeep Kishan.
