Cinema VinesTravis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, reflected on his star‑filled wedding to pop icon Taylor Swift, calling the July 3 celebration “the best night of my life” and praising the venue’s air‑conditioning during a New York City heat wave. Kelce made the remarks on Wednesday while answering reporters in Kansas City, Missouri, as the Chiefs prepare for the NFL season that kicks off in September.
The couple, both 36, wed in front of roughly 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden, turning the famed New York Knicks arena into a lavish garden setting. Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Brady and comedian Adam Sandler—who officiated—were among the attendees, along with many of Kelce’s teammates.
When asked about the event, Kelce said, “It was a fun off‑season, man. Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.” He added that it was “a crazy night” full of celebration.
Kelce also expressed gratitude to Madison Square Garden’s owners for allowing a private ceremony in the iconic venue, noting, “We can thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything. It was perfect.” He further mentioned the arena’s air conditioning, saying, “The AC was cookin’ baby, that was the best part.”
