Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor join World Happiness Summit 2026 in Bengaluru; discussing true happiness beyond achievements

In a landmark event aimed at redefining success, a group of high‑profile personalities will gather in Bengaluru on September 24 for India’s inaugural World Happiness Summit 2026. The gathering, hosted by Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi, will take place at the New Horizon College of Engineering, a venue that mirrors the city’s reputation for technology, innovation and entrepreneurial ambition.

The summit’s agenda centers on a question often eclipsed by the chase for accolades: what truly constitutes happiness? Sessions will explore themes such as purpose, relationships, inner peace, mental well‑being, fulfillment and the pressures that accompany modern success. By moving beyond achievements, financial milestones and social status, the conference seeks to illuminate a more holistic view of contentment.

Key speakers include Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and actor Arjun Kapoor, who will share insights drawn from their experiences in entertainment and popular culture. They will be joined by former police officer and social activist Kiran Bedi, wellness advocate Sonu Sharma, musician Hema Sardesai, entrepreneur Jai Madaan and Dr. Saamdu Chetri, a pioneer of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness philosophy. Together, they will bring diverse perspectives from public service, entrepreneurship, music, spirituality and wellbeing.

At the core of the summit is the philosophy of Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi, who defines true happiness as a harmonious blend of Pleasure, Peace and Purpose, the “three Ps.” He explained that “we spend so much of our lives preparing to become happy someday, after the next achievement, the next milestone or the next success. But happiness is not a destination we arrive at. It is something we can experience in the present moment.” His spelling of the word with three Ps underscores the importance of these three pillars.

The World Happiness Summit is part of the broader #Happpy.AiR.Movement, which aims to spark a wider dialogue about happiness, inner peace and purposeful living across India. The initiative arrives at a time when Bengaluru continues to attract entrepreneurs, technology professionals, creators and young talent from across the country, raising the question of whether a city famed for ambition can also become a benchmark for well‑being.

With a lineup that spans entertainment, public life, entrepreneurship, spirituality and wellness, the summit promises to foster a conversation that goes beyond individual philosophy and seeks to shape a collective understanding of living a happy and fulfilled life.
