Indian film star Ajay Devgan and his mother, Veena Devgan, have entered into a lease for a sprawling bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu district, with the agreement taking effect in August 2026. The property, located in the Kapol CHS Ltd. enclave, covers 7,803 square feet (724.90 square metres) and comes with a security deposit of ₹48 lakh, a stamp duty of ₹2.71 lakh and registration fees of ₹1,000.
The monthly rent is set at ₹16 lakh for the first year, with a 5 % annual increase over the 60‑month (five‑year) lease. By the final year, the rent is projected to rise to roughly ₹19.45 lakh, bringing the total rental value for the term to about ₹10.61 crore.
Juhu is renowned for its beachfront location, celebrity homes and premium lifestyle amenities, making it one of Mumbai’s most coveted residential areas. Limited luxury land supply and sustained demand have kept property values high across the neighbourhood.
Property registration documents accessed by real‑estate platform Square Yards confirm the lease details and highlight the substantial financial commitment involved. The agreement underscores the continued appeal of Juhu’s high‑end real‑estate market to Bollywood’s elite.
