Owen Wilson’s ‘Stick’ swings back: Season 2 premieres Nov. 4; Rhea Seehorn joins as new coach

Apple’s streaming platform has confirmed that its golf‑centric comedy “Stick” will return for a second season, debuting on November 4. The announcement came on Thursday, with the network outlining the new series’ schedule and key cast changes.

The first two episodes of season two will drop on the premiere date, after which a single episode will air each week until the finale on December 30. The staggered release allows viewers to follow the evolving storylines over a month‑long arc.

Created by Jason Keller, the show follows former pro‑golfer Pryce Cahill, played by Owen Wilson, as he attempts a comeback while mentoring a 17‑year‑old prodigy named Santi. The narrative explores the tension between raw talent and the expectations that come with it, as well as Pryce’s rivalry with former competitor Clark Ross.

Season two expands the ensemble with Golden Globe winner Rhea Seehorn joining as Amanda, a new coach who brings fresh dynamics to the group. Other returning actors include Dager, Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Olyphant, while newcomers such as John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle appear. Guest spots feature golf broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, as well as “Good Good” personality Matt Scharff and golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport.

The series is produced by Apple Studios, with Jason Keller serving as showrunner and executive producer alongside Owen Wilson. Additional executive producers are Ben Silverman of Propagate Content and Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady.
