Karan Johar has once again taken center stage as the host of “The Traitors” Season 2, a reality‑drama that has been stirring up a mix of intrigue, betrayal and unexpected exits. The latest episodes saw the departure of several key players, including Abhishek Malhan, the charismatic “Fukraa Insaan,” and Parul Gulati, leaving fans stunned and sparking a flurry of online commentary.
The show pits a group of “innocents” against a handful of hidden “traitors,” and so far the innocent camp has managed to unmask two saboteurs: Harman Singha and the popular “Kullu” (Aaditya Kulshreshth). Yet the game has also taken its toll on the innocents, with Munawar Faruqui, Soundous, and others voting them out. Viewers were particularly disappointed by the elimination of Abhishek and Munawar, whose exits were seen as abrupt and unexpected.
In response to growing speculation that Johar might be influencing the voting process, the Bollywood maestro posted a brief message on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “Hey guys! It’s a game!! They are players!!! I am not the one making these decisions, they are! Whether they are clever or not, strategic or not, innocent or not… is ON THEM! I am merely the master of ceremonies… they are THE EVENT! And also for all of you who think you know who won??? you have no clue!” He capped the post with the hashtags #Traitors2 and #MujheBakhshDo (spare me).
The season’s celebrity roster is a star‑studded mix that includes Kullu, Abhishek Malhan, Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D’Souza, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Parul Gulati, Prish, Ranveer Brar, Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir, and Tanya Puri. Contestants vie for a substantial cash prize while attempting to outwit one another in a high‑stakes game of deception.
In Episode 6, Kullu was voted out, revealing his status as a traitor. Earlier, Harman Singha’s betrayal was exposed when he was eliminated. More recently, the show has seen the exits of Ranveer Brar, Abhishek Malhan, and Parul Gulati, further tightening the field and keeping audiences on edge as the hunt for the remaining traitors continues.
