The couple completed all required legal steps at the Sub‑Registrar’s office in Mapusa, North Goa, in the company of close friends. They had previously secured special permission from the local court’s Assistant Public Prosecutor to bypass the mandatory 15‑day waiting period that Goa’s marriage laws normally impose between the first and second signatures.
Sub‑Registrar Suraj Vernekar confirmed that the marriage was recorded under Goa’s Uniform Civil Code. The pair arrived at the office around 4 pm and chose a relaxed, casual look for the ceremony. Their relationship, which began in 2018 after Arjun’s separation from former wife Mehr Jesia, has already produced two sons: Arik, born in 2019, and Ariv, born in 2023. The couple announced their engagement in 2025, six years after they first started dating.
Earlier, Rampal had expressed his unconventional view on marriage in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube channel. He described the institution as “a piece of paper” that can change people’s attitudes, noting that he and Demetriades had already felt married in their hearts. He added that the formal registration would not alter their relationship but would simply formalise what they already shared.
With the paperwork now complete, Arjun and Gabriella have officially become a married couple, marking a new chapter in their journey together. The couple’s decision to formalise their bond after years of co‑parenting and partnership reflects their commitment to each other and to their growing family.
