A new teaser for the upcoming fantasy‑superhero film Cosmic Samson has just been released, offering a tantalising glimpse of what promises to be a high‑energy cinematic experience. Directed by Abhijith Joseph, known for his work on John Luther, the short promotional clip features lead actor Sandeep Pradeep in a scene that hints at supernatural abilities without revealing too much of the plot.
The less‑than‑two‑minute teaser shows Pradeep perched atop a building, his back to the camera as he listens to music. When his father, played by Mukesh, calls him to return home, Pradeep leaps from the rooftop and lands unharmed, suggesting the presence of a superhuman power. Despite the dramatic stunt, the teaser deliberately keeps the nature of the character’s abilities and the overall tone of the film—whether it leans more toward fantasy or superhero action—shrouded in mystery.
In addition to Pradeep, the film boasts a strong supporting cast that includes Miya George, Althaf Salim, Alphonse Puthren, Anuraj O B, and several newcomers. The story and script were co‑written by Abhikesh Vasanth, while production is a joint effort between Sophia Paul’s Weekend Blockbusters and Manuel Cruz Darwin’s D Group, with Bino T Abraham serving as executive producer.
Action sequences will be choreographed by Hollywood‑based stunt director Vlad Rimburg, who previously worked on the hit Malayalam film Minnal Murali. Rimburg’s involvement is expected to elevate the film’s action credibility and provide a visual spectacle for audiences.
For Sophia Paul, Cosmic Samson marks the 10th project under her Weekend Blockbusters banner, which has previously delivered titles such as Minnal Murali, RDX, Muththirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, and Bangalore Days. The film is slated for a theatrical release later this year and will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, though the exact date has yet to be announced.
