Cinema VinesSalman Khan has once again shown his loyalty to the people who have supported him over the years. Earlier this month, the Bollywood star stepped in to help his long‑time body double, Parvez Kazi, after the latter fell ill and required minor heart surgery.
According to reports in India Today, Kazi went unwell at home on August 6. Initial speculation that he had suffered a heart attack on set was later clarified by his manager, Piyush, who explained that Kazi had gone to the doctor after feeling sick and was admitted for a series of tests. He subsequently underwent a minor heart operation in hospital.
When Khan learned of Kazi’s health scare, he immediately intervened. Piyush said the actor was “right there with us” and personally ensured that all aspects of Kazi’s medical care were handled. He added, “Salman sir treats Parvez sir like a younger brother and helped immediately.” Kazi is now recovering well and has expressed deep gratitude for Khan’s support.
The incident briefly raised concerns about the production of Khan’s upcoming pan‑India action film, Monster, starring Nayanthara. With Kazi’s absence, there were rumours that Khan might have to cover some action sequences himself. The crew has since adjusted the stunt schedule and is taking extra precautions to safeguard Kazi when he returns to the sets.
Monster, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, marks Khan’s first collaboration with the producer. Filming is underway in Mumbai, featuring large‑scale action scenes, an Afghan village set recreated at Prime Focus Studio in Film City, and a Korean stunt team. The film is slated for release on Eid 2027.
Parvez Kazi has served as Khan’s body double on numerous projects, including Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Race 3, Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Meanwhile, Khan’s war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, previously titled Battle of Galwan, is also awaiting a release update after delays linked to Ministry of Defence concerns.
