Cinema VinesEmraan Hashmi has stepped back into the action‑hero shoes with the newly released teaser for Gunmaaster G9, a film that blends high‑octane stunts with a romantic storyline. The first look, dropped digitally today, introduces audiences to the lead characters and sets the tone for an entertainer that promises a mix of thrills, love and music.
The project, produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Deepak Mukut, reunites Hashmi with composer Himesh Reshammiya and director Aditya Datt—collaborators who first worked together in 2005. Reshammiya returns to the soundtrack after a successful partnership with the production house on Sanam Teri Kasam, while Datt’s direction is expected to give the film a fresh yet familiar feel.
In the teaser, Hashmi’s character, Eshwar, is shown as an ordinary dairy‑farm owner who will go to any lengths to protect the woman he loves. The film also stars Genelia D’Souza and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles, with Abhishek Singh making an appearance. The ensemble cast is poised to deliver a story that balances action sequences with emotional beats.
Producer Deepak Mukut said, “With the teaser of Gunmaaster G9 we have kickstarted the film’s promotional campaign. Hashmi reflected on the collaboration, noting, “Adi and I have worked together in the past and we share a wonderful relationship as creative collaborators. We get each other intrinsically and when we are on set, we bring out the best in each other.” He further explained that his role as Eshwar is “an ordinary dairy farm owner who is willing to go to any lengths for his beloved.”
Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and directed by Aditya Datt. The film is also a production of SRE Studio LLP. With the teaser out, the promotional push is set to intensify as the release date approaches.
