National Geographic India will debut the four‑year wildlife series LION on August 27, following lion cub Kio’s rise to adulthood in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The show, executive‑produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton, blends 1,400 days of on‑location footage with an original score by Hans Zimmer. It will stream on JioHotstar and air weekly at 7 PM.
