Veteran Hindi film director Kuku Kohli passed away on Tuesday in Mumbai after a heart attack. He was best known for directing the 1991 hit *Phool Aur Kaante*, which launched Ajay Devgn’s career. Kohli, 71, was survived by his wife, actress Aruna Irani, and his daughters from his first marriage.
