Kayadu Lohar’s dream seat beside Rajinikanth; she posts ecstatic selfie

Kayadu Lohar, a rising actress, stunned her followers when she discovered that the legendary Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was seated right next to her on a commercial flight to Hyderabad on Tuesday. The surprise moment was captured in a selfie that she posted on Instagram, where the actor is beaming beside her. In the caption, Kayadu wrote, “I think I am still dreaming!!! From being the biggest fan to somehow ending up sitting RIGHT NEXT to Rajinikanth sir on a flight… I still can’t believe this happened. The moment I saw him Sundari started playing in my head and I was instantly in la‑la land.” She added, “What a surreal, unexpected moment ….My day is made. Hoping one day I do get to share screen with him. #thalaivar I look like a potato.”

Rajinikanth is known for his down‑to‑earth approach to fans, often flying in economy class and greeting passengers even when they approach him. Earlier in March, he was spotted on a flight from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, where he chatted with the crew and appeared relaxed while a passenger beside him seemed overjoyed. Actor Jiiva, who happened to bump into Rajinikanth on a shuttle that same day, shared a photo and captioned it, “Flying high with the superstar Rajinikanth sir!”

While Kayadu’s encounter has fans buzzing, the superstar’s next project is also generating excitement. Rajinikanth’s most recent release, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie,” premiered last August, and audiences are eagerly awaiting his upcoming sequel, “Jailer 2.” The film, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, will hit theatres on October 15. The first single from the movie, “Ala Bolelo,” featuring vocals by Anirudh Ravichander and lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj, dropped last week and includes appearances by Rajinikanth and Shamna Kasim.

“Jailer 2” brings back the ensemble cast from the original, including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, and Rithvik, while cameo roles from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff are slated to reprise their parts. Reports say that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shah Rukh Khan were approached for cameo appearances but declined. Fans can look forward to seeing the superstar in action once again as the film prepares for its October release.
