Directed by the veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, the movie stars Mohanlal and Shobana in the lead roles, supported by an ensemble cast that includes Nedumudi Venu, Pappu, Sreenivasan, Sukumari, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and KPAC Lalitha. The original 35‑mm print was meticulously scanned at 4K resolution, and the soundtrack and audio were remixed in Dolby Atmos, creating a richer, more immersive experience while preserving the film’s original charm.
Matinee Now emphasized that the restoration process was carried out without altering the source material, aiming to present the film as closely as possible to the vision of Priyadarshan and his team.
