According to the released reports, the calls began in early February when Mica reported that her husband had placed a “mental health pick‑up order” on her, citing her supposed bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She was taken into police custody from February 8 to 10, during which she claimed that John‑Paul had seized her phone, laptop, purse, notary seal, and car. When she was released, her vehicle was missing, and the pastor stated he would not return it for a month, arguing that Mica’s spending habits had worsened during medication lapses. Law enforcement treated the matter as civil, noting that Mica was not violent and that no one was reported in danger.
In addition to the mental‑health order, Mica’s calls frequently involved her fear that tracking devices had been planted on her car and other vehicles she drove.
