Cinema VinesMalayalam romantic comedy Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has continued its robust run into the second week, posting an estimated India net collection of ₹10.40 crore on Day 10 (Sunday, 30 August). According to Sacnilk, the film’s India net total has now reached ₹82.45 crore, while its gross earnings in the domestic market stand at about ₹96.15 crore after ten days of theatrical release.
International markets have also bolstered the film’s performance. On Day 10, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit earned roughly ₹10 crore in overseas territories, bringing its cumulative overseas gross to ₹98.50 crore. Combined with the domestic figures, the worldwide gross collection has climbed to approximately ₹194.65 crore after ten days.
The Day 10 net haul marked a slight uptick from the ₹10.20 crore recorded on Day 9, representing a growth of around 2%. The film opened with a net take of ₹4.90 crore on Day 1, rising to ₹7.15 crore on Saturday and ₹8.80 crore on Sunday. Subsequent weekdays saw collections of ₹6.90 crore, ₹7.90 crore on Tuesday, another ₹7.90 crore on Wednesday, and ₹8.75 crore on Thursday, culminating in a first‑week net total of ₹52.30 crore.
The second weekend saw further gains: ₹9.55 crore on Friday, ₹10.20 crore on Saturday, and the Day 10 figure of ₹10.40 crore, the highest daily India net collection since the start of the second week. Occupancy rates remained strong, with 83% reported on Day 10 across 2,669 shows, up from 82% on Day 9 and 83% on Day 8. These figures contrast with the first weekend’s 58% on Day 1, 74% on Day 2, and 77% on Day 3, and the 85% occupancy reached on Day 7.
Entering Day 11 on Monday, 31 August, the film’s weekday performance will be closely watched. While no collection figure is yet available for Day 11, the film has consistently posted daily India net earnings above ₹9 crore, with Sunday’s figure surpassing ₹10 crore. The director, Girish A. D., and producers Bhavana Studios, Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran have seen the film maintain a strong box‑office presence, supported by a cast that includes Nivin Pauly, Mamitha Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, and Srinda.
