Orry Goes Solo on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15; Keeps Parents in the Dark

Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, has become the talk of the town after his fearless performances on Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15. Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the new edition—titled “Darr Ka Naya Daur”—brought together a mix of television actors, influencers and returning contestants. Among the fresh faces were Gaurav Khanna, Avinash Mishra, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Harsh Gujral, Shagun Sharma, Avika Gor and Farrhana Bhatt, while familiar names such as Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Rubina Dilaik made a comeback. Vishal Aditya Singh returned as well but was eliminated in the first episode.

Orry’s journey on the show has been nothing short of remarkable. In a recent Instagram reel, he shared behind‑the‑scenes footage of the stunts he has tackled so far, accompanied by a heartfelt caption addressed to host Rohit Shetty. He revealed that he entered the competition alone, keeping his participation a secret from his parents and refusing to send daily updates or frantic calls. “I came to this show completely alone all by myself. I didn’t even tell my parents I was doing this,” he wrote, emphasizing the solitude that defined his experience.

He went on to describe the mental challenge of performing without an audience or support system. “No daily check‑ins, no frantic calls explaining the stunts, no updates to anyone back home it was just me, in total solitude, performing every stunt gracefully in silence,” Orry added. He reflected on how the isolation pushed him to discover who he truly was, stating that surviving five episodes felt like a milestone, and that reaching the halfway point of the season was a testament to his resilience.

Despite admitting that he has lost every stunt he attempted, Orry framed each loss as a graceful defeat rather than a failure. “Even though I have basically lost every single stunt I have lost elegantly and performed beautifully – never a victory but definitely never a defeat either and for that I am so so proud of myself,” he wrote, challenging the public perception of him as a “vapid fragile Barbie doll.” His candidness has resonated with viewers, who have praised his courage and authenticity.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 premiered on August 1, 2026, on Colors TV and JioHotstar, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm. Orry’s story is a reminder that the bravest acts often come from within, and that sometimes the greatest audience is oneself.
