The Bollywood superstar, who will return as the host, began filming on Friday, just ahead of the launch episode that is set to air on Colors TV at 10:30 p.m. and stream on JioHotstar at 9 p.m.
Before the cameras started rolling, the actor posed for a flurry of paparazzi photos in a striking cowboy ensemble. He wore a dark‑brown leather hat, matching boots, a silver belt buckle, and a casual T‑shirt, vest and jeans that completed the look. A video posted by a paparazzi account on Instagram captured Salman looking visibly annoyed at someone off‑camera, muttering, “Yeh mera kaam nahi hai. Mujhe camera ke aage aane ki koi zarurat nahi hai,” which translates to “This is not my job. I don’t need to pose for photos.” Despite his initial reluctance, he eventually walked around to give the photographers action shots and later agreed to take selfies, even as his team warned that the shoot was running behind schedule.
After the photo session, the star shared a carousel of images from the Bigg Boss 20 set on his social media, captioning them with the hashtag #Biggboss20. The new house, revealed by the makers, boasts a whimsical blend of fantasy and contemporary design, featuring décor inspired by Alice in Wonderland, a shark‑themed pool, a giant pink teapot that turns into a couch, and a hot‑air balloon repurposed as a seating area.
Rumours about the upcoming season’s contestants are already circulating. Names such as Kushal Tanwar, Yeda Yung, Mahhi Vij, Amrapali Dubey, Geeta Basra, Uditi Singh, Faisal Khan (Aamir Khan’s brother), Rohed Khan, Rhiya Ahir, Love Gill, and Rhiti Tiwari have been mentioned, though no official confirmation has been released.
While the South Indian versions of the franchise—hosted by Nagarjuna in Telugu, Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil, Mohanlal in Malayalam, and Kichcha Sudeep in Kannada—will also premiere on the same day, all eyes remain on Salman Khan’s return to the Bigg Boss stage, where his charisma and larger‑than‑life presence are expected to draw in millions of viewers.
