Amol Parashar has taken to social media to urge moviegoers to head straight to the cinemas and watch the newly released film *Mirzapur The Movie*. The actor, who is not part of the cast, explained that his support stems from a desire to see the performers who have earned their place through years of hard work receive the audience they deserve.
In his post, Parashar clarified that he was not involved in the film, but that did not stop him from championing the talent behind it. He described the ensemble as “some of the craftiest actors of our generation,” noting that viewers have already witnessed their skill and have been entertained by their performances. He highlighted the journey these actors have undertaken, “building their careers from the ground up, years of leaving no stone unturned while simultaneously working on themselves.”
Parashar’s message goes beyond a single movie. He called on fans to “put our money where our mouth is,” arguing that liking or praising an actor online is insufficient. The actor stressed that the only real way to support talent is by purchasing tickets and attending screenings, as “business follows the money you are willing to spend on them.” He added that a strong box‑office showing could encourage filmmakers and studios to offer more opportunities to skilled performers.
“When audiences choose to support good performers at the box office, it can encourage filmmakers and studios to give more opportunities to talented actors,” Parashar wrote. He concluded that this shift would bring change to the industry, benefiting everyone involved and ensuring that talent is rewarded for its hard work.
