Bigg Boss Tamil 10 has already begun generating buzz across the reality‑show community, with veteran actor Vijay Sethupathi slated to return as host for the milestone season. The new edition is being marketed as a larger, more unpredictable chapter for Tamil audiences, featuring a carnival‑themed house that promises brighter visuals and task‑driven drama.
A key highlight this year is the introduction of common‑er participants. For the first time in the Tamil version, non‑celebrity contestants will battle alongside well‑known stars for the coveted trophy. Three commoners are expected to be chosen through the Bigg Boss Common Man pre‑show, where judges such as Oviya, Aari Arujunan and Raju Jeyamohan evaluated the hopefuls.
The competition among the commoners—Karishma Sama, Munniyama, Jason and Shama—has been intense. In a last‑minute twist, Karishma was evicted based on audience votes, leaving Jason, Shama and Munniyama to join the celebrity lineup inside the house, according to a viral social‑media post.
Bigg Boss Tamil 10’s grand premiere is set to feature a dramatic opening with multiple eliminations on the very first day. Reports suggest that roughly 33 contestants will appear at the premiere, with about nine to ten being voted out before the house doors open.
The launch is scheduled for September 6, coinciding with the premieres of Bigg Boss Telugu 10, Bigg Boss 20, Bigg Boss Malayalam season 8 and Bigg Boss Kannada 13.
