Cinema VinesMalayalam rom‑com Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has pushed past the ₹265‑crore mark worldwide, according to the latest figures from box‑office tracking site Sacnilk. The film, which opened in September, has accumulated an India net total of ₹122.05 crore and an India gross of roughly ₹144.10 crore after 17 days of theatrical release.
On Sunday, September 6, the movie earned an estimated ₹8.10 crore in India, a rise from Saturday’s ₹5.65 crore. The third‑weekend three‑day total reached ₹19.90 crore net. The Malayalam version alone contributed about ₹6.55 crore net on Day 17, while the Tamil and Telugu versions added ₹0.75 crore and ₹0.80 crore respectively. Across 1,855 shows that day, the film maintained an overall occupancy of 81%.
Internationally, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit collected around ₹4 crore on Day 17, bringing its overseas gross to approximately ₹121 crore. Combining domestic and overseas receipts, the worldwide tally sits at about ₹265.10 crore after 17 days.
In its first two weeks, the film earned ₹52.30 crore in Week 1 and ₹49.85 crore in Week 2, giving a two‑week India net of ₹102.15 crore before the third weekend began. Director Girish A. D. penned the story with co‑writer Kiran Josey, and the film was produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran under Bhavana Studios. The cast features Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, supported by Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Shameer Khan, Srinda and others.
The movie’s music was composed by Vishnu Vijay, with Ajmal Sabu handling cinematography and Akash Joseph Varghese editing the film. As Bethlehem Kudumba Unit enters Day 18 on Monday, September 7, the next collection update will clarify its weekday performance in the third week.
