The film’s success has sparked a wave of praise from the film community. Director Aditya Dhar, known for his work on Dhurandhar, took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement, sharing the movie’s poster along with emojis of Om, love, and folded hands. He also tagged Chaturvedi in the post, signalling his admiration for the director’s vision.
Bollywood star Varun Dhawan echoed the sentiment on his Instagram story, announcing that he had watched the film with his mother. “Please go to the theatre and watch Hanuman Ansh. I just went with my mom, and it was an amazing experience,” Dhawan wrote. He urged viewers to bring family and friends, adding that his lifelong connection to Lord Hanuman made the movie feel “divine.” He also complimented lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa Ji and praised Chaturvedi’s direction, calling it “brilliant.”
Despite the accolades, Chaturvedi has expressed frustration over the lack of support from Bollywood peers during the film’s early stages. In a recent podcast with Raunac, he revealed that while many industry figures congratulated him after the movie’s success, they had not offered assistance when he sought help earlier. He mentioned Madhur Bhandarkar as one of the congratulating parties, but chose not to name others, citing their prior indifference.
The film’s rapid climb to ₹122.13 crore in net collection underscores its unexpected triumph and the growing appetite for spiritually themed cinema in India.
