Love Gill Wins Fans’ Vote; Rhiya Ahir Eliminated Before House Entry

On the premiere night of Bigg Boss 20, the show shocked viewers by eliminating contestant Rhiya Ahir before she could step into the main house. The decision was part of a special “Fans Ka Faisla” twist, in which the audience voted via the JioHotstar app to determine which of the two contestants would continue in the competition.

Host Salman Khan announced that Love Gill had won the live audience poll, receiving roughly five lakh more votes than Rhiya Ahir. With this victory, Love secured a permanent spot inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, while Rhiya’s journey ended abruptly on the very stage where the show began.

Before the vote was revealed, Love and Rhiya engaged in a heated exchange on the premiere stage. Love questioned Rhiya’s viral popularity and challenged the narrative surrounding one of her widely discussed incidents, specifically her alleged blocking of a police van. He argued that such an act was a violation of the law rather than a heroic gesture, while Rhiya defended her actions and stood by her perspective, leading to a fiery confrontation.

The new season, hosted again by Salman Khan, premiered on September 6 and is being broadcast on Colors TV as well as streamed on JioHotstar. It features a diverse lineup of contestants, including Olympic boxer Mary Kom, Bhojpuri actor Amrapali Dubey, television and film personalities like Mahhi Vij, Kanika Mann, Aasif Khan, Aman Gandhi and Faissal Khan, singers and reality TV alumni such as Qazi Touqeer, Rhiti Tiwari and Kushal Tanwar (known as Gullu), as well as digital creators and gaming personalities including ScoutOP (Tanmay Singh), rapper Yung DSA and influencer Arishfa Khan.

Rhiya Ahir’s early exit has already set an unpredictable tone for the season, leaving fans to wonder how the rest of the contestants will navigate the challenges ahead. The show continues to deliver drama and surprise twists, keeping audiences engaged from the very first episode.
