Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the Malayalam romantic comedy starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has continued to dominate Kerala’s box office, amassing a reported ₹123.45 crore in gross revenue after 19 days of theatrical run. The figure comes from industry tracker AB George, who posted the numbers on X on September 9, noting that the film added ₹2.74 crore on its 19th day, bringing the total to the cited amount. The data reflect the film’s performance through Tuesday, September 8, with the 20th day already in progress.
Directed by Girish A. D., the movie opened on August 21, coinciding with the Onam festival season. Its opening day Kerala collection stood at ₹4.60 crore, followed by ₹6.30 crore on Day 2 and ₹7.50 crore on Day 3, keeping the daily takings above the ₹7‑crore mark for much of the first week. Subsequent days saw collections of ₹7.05 crore on Day 4, ₹7.90 crore on Day 5, ₹7.55 crore on Day 6 and a peak of ₹8.90 crore on Day 7.

AB George has highlighted the ₹123.45 crore haul as the second‑highest Kerala gross for the current theatrical season and hinted that the film could climb to the top spot by Friday if the trend continues. The film’s story follows Ashley, who returns to Kerala after living abroad and rekindles memories with Justin, a local caterer with musical aspirations. Their evolving relationship is complicated by age differences and family reactions.
The cast features Nivin Pauly, Mamitha Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Srinda, Parvathy Ayyappadas, Meenakshy Raveendran and Bindu Panicker, among others. It was written by Girish A. D. and Kiran Josey, with music by Vishnu Vijay, cinematography by Ajmal Sabu and editing by Akash Joseph Varghese. Production was handled by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran under Bhavana Studios. With the 20th day underway, the film’s future earnings will determine whether it overtakes the current record holder.
