The teaser, released on September 10, 2026, showcases Suriya in an unconventional cop role as DSP Inbaraj, hinting at a blend of action, comedy and stylish storytelling. A highlighted moment shows the character walking beside a constable, saying, “Take a good look at my face. To you, I might be the only cop to have ever arrested you. But to me, you are one among the 900‑odd criminals I’ve locked up in prison.”
In addition to Suriya, the film brings together a notable ensemble that includes Malayalam actors Nazriya Nazim as the female lead and Naslen in a pivotal role. Supporting cast members feature John Vijay, Anand Raj, Lal and Raj Priyan. The project is produced by actress Jyothika under the Zhaagaram Studios banner and is being built on a large scale with a substantial budget. Post‑production is underway, with the film slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6, 2026, coinciding with the Diwali holiday.
Director Jithu Madhavan makes his Tamil debut with Scene, following the success of his Malayalam films Romancham and Aavesham.
