Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju star in the Malayalam hit “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit,” a film that has taken the box office by storm since its Onam release. Directed by Girish A D and produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran under Bhavana Studios, the movie has become the biggest Malayalam success of the year, drawing both families and younger viewers to theatres across India and abroad.
With earnings already surpassing ₹200 crore, the film is now closing in on the ₹300 crore milestone worldwide, a figure that the makers confirmed in recent statements. The strong performance is evident in the film’s Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, which have attracted audiences beyond Kerala, and in overseas markets where the movie has also seen a robust response.
To celebrate its continued run, the production team released a second trailer titled “Encore.” The new clip offers another look at the film’s beloved characters and highlights the chemistry between Pauly’s Justin and Baiju’s Ashley, whose camaraderie and the comedy sequences are central to the movie’s appeal.
The ensemble cast—featuring Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Bindu Panicker, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Shameer Khan, Srinda, Parvathy Ayyappadas and Meenakshi Raveendran—adds depth to the story, while Pauly’s performance marks a significant comeback, making “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit” the most successful film of his career to date.
