Isha Rikhi Says She’s Not Ready for Love; Focuses on Healing Inside Bigg Boss House

Isha Rikhi, the actress who recently split from rapper Badshah, is currently inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. The past few months have seen her wrestling with public scrutiny over her marriage and separation, a situation she opened up about in a conversation with HT City before entering the reality show.

During the interview, Rikhi spoke candidly about the double standards that still exist for women in the public eye. "Even I feel that women are still defined by their relationships more than men," she said. She added that while society claims to be evolving, everyone still faces personal battles. Some people choose to voice them openly, others keep them private, and she respects each choice. For her, protecting her own peace is paramount, and she advises others to avoid sharing anything that could jeopardise that peace.

Rikhi also mentioned her mother, who has been dragged into the social media storm. “I do feel hurt but at the same time, I can’t stop her and I don’t want to stop her,” she explained. “Parents know what is right and wrong for you, which you may not know yourself. I support her in whatever she does. Later I’ll tell her why I did it, but I know she was right. It’s mother’s love, and it will always be a daughter’s duty to speak to her.”

When asked if she is ready to find love again, Rikhi was firm: “A big no.” She described her heart as a door locked with many, many locks. “I won’t say I don’t believe in love. I do, but I’m not ready for it. I want to heal myself and get back to myself. So, romantically I’m not ready, but I would welcome friendship and love inside the house.”

Rikhi also addressed the inevitable questions about her past relationship with Badshah. She said she is in a space where she does not want to discuss that particular situation. “I will focus on myself, not on any other topic. I don’t think I will entertain those questions until I can.” This stance reflects her desire to keep the focus on her personal growth rather than her past drama.
