The film‑star, who has been a familiar face on Bollywood sets, revealed that she had been filming the series while pregnant, a fact that only emerged after the shoot had already begun. The production team, aware of the news, made a number of adjustments to keep her comfortable without compromising the action‑packed storyline.
During the trailer launch, Chopra discussed how the crew adapted the demanding sequences to suit her condition. She explained that the team re‑worked the action scenes, arranged for her to stay on set in nearby bungalows, and avoided the long, winding roads that would have been difficult to navigate daily. “They arranged for me to live on set so that I can just come, shoot and get my rest,” she said, adding that the director even made changes so she never felt guilty for taking a day off.
The actress also shared a light‑hearted moment about her family’s involvement. Her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, reportedly rushed to Shimla to be with her once he heard about the pregnancy. Chopra noted that her mother, mother‑in‑law, and brothers also visited the set, joking that it felt like the entire family had come to shoot. She quipped that the series would be “Neer’s debut” as well as her own, a playful nod to the baby she was expecting.
Chopra and Chadha tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on 24 September 2023. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Neer, in October 2025. The timing of the series launch, set against the backdrop of the couple’s growing family, adds a personal layer to Chopra’s professional debut on the streaming platform.
