The singer’s team announced the delay at the last minute, citing an unexpected travel issue that jeopardised the safety of León and his entourage.
According to a post from Sphere Vegas on Instagram, the concert will now take place on September 15, 2027. Tickets purchased for the original September 10 show remain valid for the new date, and fans who cannot attend the rescheduled performance may request a refund from the original point of purchase within 30 days.
León explained the mishap in a video posted to social media. He said his first plane encountered brake problems around 3 p.m., prompting the arrangement of a second aircraft, which then developed steering issues. Ultimately, authorities refused to allow the flight to proceed, forcing the postponement.
The rescheduled date is part of León’s expanded 2027 run at The Sphere, which will feature four consecutive shows on September 15, 16, 17, and 18—coinciding with Mexican Independence Day celebrations in Las Vegas. This marks the first time a Latino artist has headline the venue, following León’s seven‑date run last year.
Fans who have already secured tickets for the original date do not need to purchase new tickets for the 2027 show; their existing tickets will be honored. Those unable to attend the new date can contact the same ticketing outlet where they originally bought their tickets to initiate a refund within the 30‑day window.
