Police said that on September 5, a vehicle in the 2500 block of McCallum Road was targeted by a dark‑coloured SUV that fired multiple shots. Officers confirmed that no one was injured. Shortly thereafter, they responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 2400 block of Sunnyside Place, finding an SUV engulfed in flames. The AbbyPD Major Crime Unit is investigating the motive for the shooting and whether the fire is connected to the incident.
Ammy Virk’s father, Kuljit Singh, also dismissed the reports, confirming that the family was safe and that no shots had been fired at his son. He stated that the shooting had reportedly targeted the convoy of the show’s organisers, not the singer himself.
