Nani Declares No Trailer for The Paradise; Calls Out Director’s Time Issues

Srikanth Odela’s upcoming Telugu feature, The Paradise, will hit theatres on September 24, but the team has confirmed that no official trailer will be released. The decision, announced during a press briefing on Friday, comes after a series of postponements that pushed the film’s launch from an initial March date to August, and finally to late September.

Actor Nani, who stars in the film, reiterated the no‑trailer stance in the same interview. He said, “The Paradise will not have a trailer. Someone said that even if we don’t promote from now, the film has enough hype to sustain it. I am not taking the audience for granted, though.” A teaser had already been shared in August, but the team explained that producing a “stellar” trailer would require additional post‑production time, which they could not afford given the current schedule.

During the event, Nani also addressed concerns about director Srikanth Odela’s time management. He recounted that Odela apologized for missing deadlines and admitted he “has missed the mark when it comes to time management.” Nani added that Odela plans to learn from acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli by working as his assistant director after completing the shoot.

Besides Nani, the cast includes Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, and veteran actor Mohan Babu. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. While the release date has been fixed, the team has yet to announce any ticket pricing strategy.

Despite the delays and the absence of a trailer, fans of the Nani‑Odela partnership remain eager to see the duo’s second collaboration following 2023’s Dasara. The film’s promotional strategy will rely on the buzz generated by the teaser and the actors’ reputations rather than a traditional trailer campaign.
