Radhika Sarathkumar, a prominent actress in the industry, joined the festivities and took to Instagram to share a video of her greeting Ajith with a hug. In the clip, she praised the actor’s passion, dedication and focus, calling him a great inspiration. She also posted a selfie with fellow star Trisha Krishnan, who was seen winking and flashing a V‑sign while pulling Radhika close for a hug.
Ajith’s remarks to the press highlighted the significance of Vijay’s presence. He said, “I am extremely thankful to the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C Joseph Vijay, to have taken time off from his busy schedule to come and visit us at Silverstone. We’ve been colleagues in the film industry for the last 34 years, and I’m very happy for him that he’s now the Chief Minister‑elect.” He added that Vijay’s support for motorsport could pave the way for future Indian events, including the possibility of hosting Le Mans races in Chennai.
While it remains unclear whether Radhika Sarathkumar and Trisha Krishnan will attend the race itself, their presence at the venue underscored the event’s appeal to the Tamil film community. The race, which features a mix of international and local talent, is expected to attract more celebrities from the region in the coming weeks.
