Adhyayan Suman and debutante Divita Rai have revealed the first look of their upcoming romantic musical, Main Na Raha Mera, teasing a story that wrestles with the question: can ego eclipse love? The motion poster, released on Instagram, opens with a haunting voice asking, “Kya guroor ishq se bada ho sakta hai?” setting a tone of longing, heartbreak, and self‑reflection.
The plot follows Raj, a young man whose romantic ideals were shaped by 1990s classics. After a one‑sided love leaves him heartbroken, he encounters his former love, Simran, twelve years later. Their reunion forces Raj to confront lingering feelings and the pain of their past, while the film explores the complex dynamics of modern relationships.
In a statement, Suman described the project as “an incredibly special film and deeply close to my heart.” He praised producer Dharmesh Sangani for his steadfast support and highlighted the music, composed by Rahul Nair, as “one of the finest and most soulful albums of the year.” He also thanked editor Shubham Srivastav for shaping the film’s narrative.
Rai, who is making her acting debut, spoke about her layered character: “My character experiences emotions that are layered, some beautiful and some really difficult, and discovering that space as an actor has been really special.” She hopes audiences will see their own emotions reflected in her journey.
Directed by Amit Kasaria and produced by Dharmesh Sangani, Main Na Raha Mera will drop its teaser on September 16, 2026. Fans of Suman and newcomers alike are invited to explore the film’s exploration of ego, love, and the enduring impact of past relationships.
