Sahil Salathia Fires Back at Rida Tharana Over Unwanted Touches; Calls for Healing

The feud between Rida Tharana and fellow Traitors Season 2 contestant Sahil Salathia has escalated into a public confrontation after Tharana accused Salathia of unwanted touching and hugging during a party. Tharana, who emerged as a joint winner with Krystle D’Souza, claimed that Salathia repeatedly hugged and touched her without consent, making her feel “extremely uncomfortable” and unable to stay at the event.

In response, Salathia posted a video reel from the reunion shoot, where both contestants were seen showcasing their outfits. In the caption he wrote that he had always tried to avoid hurting Tharana, describing his reaction as “childish” and “giggling like a school kid.” He added that Tharana’s comments had shifted his perspective on how he sees people and urged her to “be better” and “heal people around you.”

Tharana had previously threatened to “slap the s*** out of him” in a promo for the show, comparing his behaviour to a parent’s discipline of a child. She also criticised Salathia for “putting himself on her” and for not teaching his parents about alcohol tolerance and respecting women when drunk.

Salathia, a finalist of the season, has stated that he did not intend to harm Tharana and that his comments were meant to be light‑hearted. He concluded his post by wishing her “real happiness” and a “sunshine version” of herself.

The controversy has drawn attention to the broader issue of consent and respectful behaviour on reality‑TV sets, with both contestants now facing public scrutiny. All episodes of The Traitors Season 2 are available on Prime Video, and the drama continues to unfold in social‑media circles.
