The announcement came during the episode aired on Asianet and marked the end of Rini’s stint in the house, which began with the season premiere on September 6. Rini’s exit follows the earlier departures of Gayathri Suresh and Dhanya, who was known in the house as Kaali.
The eviction process unfolded in several stages. Host Mohanlal called the nominated contestants to stand and then began declaring who would be safe. Muhammad Asif was the first to be saved, followed by a nomination from Sreelakshmi Arackal who highlighted how his presence helped keep the atmosphere lighter. Noby Binu, Rahul Easwar and Shijin S were subsequently declared safe, leaving four names still at risk.
To determine the final outcome, a radio segment was introduced by Mohanlal. The voice representing the public verdict announced that Eldho George would continue in the competition, and Kadal Komban was also saved. This left Rini Ann George and Neha Fathima as the last two contestants awaiting the final decision. The radio then focused on Rini before the eviction verdict was revealed.
Mohanlal confirmed that Rini had been eliminated, while Neha Fathima was declared safe. With Rini’s departure, the number of contestants in the house has decreased further during the opening phase of the season.
Season 8, which began on September 6, also introduced the Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha pre‑show to select commoner participants for the main house. Four contestants—Eldho George, Rakesh Jacob, Loletta Loryne Rodrigues and Shijin S—entered the main house through this process, while Shibina and Tashi Raj later joined as wildcard commoner contestants playing as a single entry. The season continues with the remaining housemates competing for safety as it moves into its next phase.
