Vijay, who has long been a popular figure in Tamil Nadu, presented Ajith with a miniature replica of a race car, signing it with a message that read, “Priyamudan (With Love) Vijay to my lovely brother Ajith.” The gesture was met with cheers from fans of both stars, many of whom had gathered in the UK to witness the historic moment. In return, Ajith presented Vijay with a helmet bearing the simple inscription, “Love Ajith.”
Ajith’s participation in the Le Mans Cup saw him finish 38th out of 44 entrants, a respectable result for a debut in the endurance race. Speculation arose that Ajith might explore a film career centred on motorsport, especially after the release of his recent movies “Vidaamuyarchi” and “Good Bad Ugly.” Vijay’s latest film, “Jana Nayagan,” had premiered in July 2023 after a delayed release.
