Cinema VinesSalman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, was spotted at his brother Sohail Khan’s residence on Tuesday, joining family and friends for the Ganpati Visarjan ceremony. The actor was accompanied by his rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur, who also took part in the aarti rituals. The celebration was held within Sohail’s building, where a large water tank had been set up for the immersion of the Ganpati idol.
As Salman entered, his younger brother Arhaan Khan welcomed him at the door, and his niece Ayat gave him a sweet hug. While performing the aarti, Salman mistakenly lit the lamp in the wrong direction – a mistake that drew the attention of his sister Arpita Khan. She quickly pointed out the error, calling out “bhai,” but the loud chanting made it difficult for Salman to hear her. Arpita corrected him on the spot, prompting a cute reaction from the superstar, who later explained the proper way to his niece.
Iulia Vantur joined the festivities and performed her own aarti after Salman. While the actor kept a relaxed look in printed jeans, a matching jacket, a black T‑shirt and a black beanie, Iulia dazzled the crowd in a bright yellow anarkali suit. In another clip, Salman chatted with his stepmother Helen and other guests, posed for paparazzi, and showered affection on a small child.
The family‑centric atmosphere was highlighted by fans on social media, who praised the bond between Salman and Arpita. Comments ranged from “only Arpita can correct him” to “this is what sisters are for, to teach their brothers,” and “brothers only listen to their sisters.” The Visarjan also saw Arhaan Khan, the son of Arbaaz Khan, helping with the idol’s immersion, while friends of Sohail such as Delbar Arya, Kushal Tandon and Sargun joined the gathering.
Looking ahead, Salman will next appear in the film Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under his own banner, Salman Khan Films. The movie, which had previously been titled Battle of Galwan, has faced delays and controversy, including criticism from China’s Global Times and a statement from India’s Ministry of External Affairs that it had no involvement in the project. The film’s release, originally slated for April 17, remains uncertain as certain scenes are reportedly being reshot to broaden the story beyond a single military clash.
