Shah Rukh Khan previews Dhurandhar before release; Salman Khan’s theatre hosts early screening

After a break of almost ten and a half months, Shah Rukh Khan opened a new “Ask SRK” session on X, sparking excitement among fans. The superstar answered questions with his usual wit and also revealed that he had already watched the upcoming film Dhurandhar The Revenge. When a fan asked if he’d seen the movie, SRK replied, “Loved both the parts…fantastic by the whole team!!!”

According to a source cited by Bollywood Hungama, SRK saw the film a day before its official release, meaning he was the first to view it in the world. He requested director Aditya Dhar to arrange a private screening, which the writer‑director‑producer happily obliged. The screening took place at Salman Khan’s own preview theatre, where SRK was joined by his family and Karan Johar. The source was unsure whether Salman Khan himself attended the screening.

Salman Khan’s theatre has a history of hosting early showings for high‑profile projects. Earlier, the venue was used to show a rough cut of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi to industry figures such as Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Sooraj Barjatya, Kabir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Rumy Jafry, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and others. Director Apoorva Lakhia and co‑star Chitrangda Singh were also present at that event.

After the private viewing, SRK spoke with Aditya Dhar and expressed how much he enjoyed the film. The director was reportedly touched by the feedback from one of the country’s biggest stars. Dhurandhar The Revenge features an ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, and follows an Indian spy infiltrating a gang in Lyari, Karachi, as he rises through the ranks and causes havoc.

Fans of the superstar can look forward to the official release of Dhurandhar The Revenge, while SRK’s early endorsement adds a significant boost to the film’s anticipation.
