Kareena Kapoor laughs over her sons spotting her ads; they’re baffled by her screen presence

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor shared a light‑hearted moment with her readers when she revealed that her two sons, Taimur and Jeh, are now old enough to notice her advertisements everywhere. In a recent interview with Screen, the actress admitted that the sight of her face in a commercial can be a bit awkward for her little ones, especially when they ask her questions about the ads.

Kapoor recounted a particular incident at an airport where her elder son Taimur, who was watching a commercial that featured Kareena, asked her, “Why are you doing that?” The actress explained that she simply told him to move on, saying it was just an ad and there was no need to overthink it. Yet the question lingered, and she found herself unsure whether to let her sons see too much of her public persona.

Beyond the world of advertising, Kapoor also discussed her children’s relationship with technology. She noted that Taimur and Jeh do not have their own phones, but they often mistake the nanny’s device for theirs. The actress described herself as “hyper” about the digital realm, frequently snatching phones from their hands when they play games all day. When Taimur objected after she denied him a phone, he pointed out that he and his father also use phones, adding a touch of irony to the conversation.

Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan, who married on 16 October 2012 after five years of dating, have two sons: Taimur, born in 2016, and Jeh, born in 2021. While both parents are prominent figures in Bollywood, Kareena revealed that her son Taimur shows little interest in acting or drama. Instead, he is fascinated by sports and aspires to play football or cricket at a global level.
