In a recent episode of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 20, Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi opened up about the end of her five‑month marriage to the popular music composer and singer Badshah. The conversation, which unfolded during a chat with fellow contestant Kanika Mann, shed light on the emotional turmoil Rikhi experienced after the couple’s split, which was announced earlier this year.
Rikhi, who had kept her personal life relatively private, described feeling betrayed and manipulated. She said, “I was played,” referring to the way her relationship with Badshah ended. When Kanika asked if she had been physically or emotionally cheated on, Rikhi replied that the experience was “toxic,” adding that she had been led to believe she was a “best friend” to the singer, only to discover that this was a false impression.
Speaking candidly, Rikhi explained that she had been “showing him off as my best friend,” but that the relationship was never genuine. She added that the situation left her “stuck in the middle,” a feeling she described as “very toxic.” She also revealed that she had been involved with other people who “were just people you would chill with for a day or two,” and that Badshah had been playing a game rather than building a real partnership.
Rikhi’s comments came after the couple’s wedding was first revealed in March 2026, when her mother Poonam Rikhi posted photos of their intimate ceremony on Instagram. Despite the public nature of their marriage, the couple’s relationship reportedly remained private, with little insight into the reasons behind their eventual separation.
In the Bigg Boss house, Rikhi’s remarks were framed as a broader critique of toxic relationships, emphasizing the need for proof before accepting claims about a partner’s fidelity. While she did not name Badshah directly, her statements were widely interpreted as a direct response to their split, highlighting the emotional cost of their brief marriage.
