Cinema VinesMalayalam action thriller Thudakkam marked the cinematic debut of Vismaya Mohanlal, the daughter of veteran actor Mohanlal, after its theatrical release on 7 August 2026. The film, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, features an ensemble cast that includes Aashish Joe Antony, Sai Kumar, Bobby Kurian, Manoj K. Jayan, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Miya George, Chippy Renjith, Kottayam Ramesh and Jaffar Idukki. In addition to her lead role, Vismaya makes a special cameo, while the legendary Mohanlal himself appears briefly, adding a high‑profile touch to the project.
Written by Jude Anthany Joseph alongside Akhil Krishna and Linish Nellikkal, Thudakkam follows the story of a young woman who finds her life upended when an unexpected danger forces her into a perilous situation. The narrative centers on her struggle to survive, showcasing themes of resilience and hope as she confronts the challenges that arise. The film’s emotional backdrop underscores her journey and the pivotal choices she must make during this difficult period.
