Cinema VinesParvathy Thiruvothu’s latest crime‑thriller, Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar, is still riding a strong wave in Kerala theatres on its sixth day of release. According to industry tracker AB George, the film had earned a tracked gross of about ₹80 lakh from 775 shows up to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16. The figure was posted on X, and the tracker noted that if the current pace of the afternoon shows continues, the film could close the day with a Kerala gross exceeding ₹1.20 crore.
While the projection is optimistic, the final Day 6 total will hinge on the performance of the evening and night screenings that have yet to run. Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar opened on September 11 and has been steadily collecting across the state since then, with the latest numbers giving a snapshot of its ongoing momentum.
The film, directed by Shahad, follows the story of Aleena, a woman who joins the police force after her husband’s death. Her new role thrusts her into a series of challenging situations involving justice, loyalty, and tough choices. Parvathy leads the cast, supported by Vijayaraghavan, Mathew Thomas, Sidharth Bharathan, Unnimaya Prasad, Azees Nedumangadu and Vinay Forrt, among others.
