Kaif, who recently appeared in a green ensemble at an event, was met with criticism from internet trolls who focused solely on her post‑pregnancy figure.
Bhadoria, who herself became a mother in November 2025, used her Instagram Stories to post a video from an influencer who condemned the cruelty faced by Kaif and other mothers. The influencer highlighted Kaif’s successful business venture with Kay Beauty, worth ₹400 crore, and her status as a leading actor, arguing that motherhood should not be a subject of ridicule. Bhadoria echoed this sentiment, stating, “This isn’t just about Katrina. It’s about every mother judged while her body is still healing.”
In a longer post on her feed, Bhadoria expanded on the broader issue, writing that it is “deeply cruel” to treat a woman who has just given birth as public property and to expect her to return to her pre‑pregnancy appearance. She added, “A postpartum body is not a failed version of a woman’s old body. It is evidence that something extraordinary happened to her.” She urged people to be kinder to new mothers, reminding them that they “do not need to shrink, change, or apologise for what it took to bring life into this world.”
Bhadoria’s message underscores the societal expectation that women should sacrifice everything to become mothers while still being judged for any physical changes that accompany childbirth. By calling out the harassment and advocating for a more compassionate view of postpartum bodies, she aims to empower mothers to “stand tall, take up space, and love themselves fiercely.”
