Cinema VinesMalayalam cinema has added a new supernatural thriller to its repertoire with the release of “It’s A Medical Miracle,” which hit theatres on Friday, September 18, 2026. The film stars Sangeeth Prathap and Sharaf U Dheen in leading roles, while Akhila Bhargavan also features prominently. Directed by Shyamin Gireesh, the story was penned by Nileen Sandra, who handled the screenplay and dialogues.
The plot follows a young man who is declared brain‑dead but awakens with the ability to hear everything around him. Determined to find the nurse whose voice he believes kept him alive, he embarks on a quest that intertwines masks, memories, and revenge, with sound playing a pivotal role in unraveling the mystery.
Behind the camera, Akhil Xavier provided the cinematography, and Rakesh Cherumadam edited the film. The musical score and original compositions were crafted by Mujeeb Majeed, while art direction was led by Appunni Sajan. Sound design was handled by Nixon George, and the visual effects were produced by the studio Promice. Production credits include Dr. Paul Varghese and Sujith J Nair.
