Cinema VinesBollywood star Salman Khan was seen enjoying the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, visiting a number of pandals and offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. After attending the Ambanis’ festivities and his own family’s Ganpati Visarjan, the actor stopped by the home of politician Ashish Shelar to seek blessings. The visit, captured on camera, sparked a frenzy as fans rushed to the entrance, forcing Khan to ask them politely to step aside with folded hands.
In a video shared by a paparazzo, Khan is seen exiting Shelar’s residence wearing a beanie and a tilak on his forehead. The crowd, consisting of paparazzi and enthusiastic fans, blocked his path, and his bodyguards struggled to manage the situation. Despite the chaos, the actor managed to reach his car, but not before he stopped to greet a child who had approached him for a handshake. Khan gently escorted the youngster out of the crowd before continuing toward his vehicle.
Earlier in the festival, Khan visited his brother Sohail’s house for the Ganpati Visarjan ceremony. He performed aarti, only to be corrected by his sister Arpita Khan Sharma for doing it anti‑clockwise. The light‑hearted moment between the siblings went viral, adding to the actor’s festive appearances.
Beyond the celebrations, Khan remains busy with his current projects. He is hosting Bigg Boss 20 and is slated to appear in Vamshi Paidipally’s action thriller tentatively titled SVC63, his first on‑screen collaboration with South Indian star Nayanthara. The film, produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, is scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2027. He also has the film Maatrubhumi in the pipeline, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which was initially set for an April theatrical release but has been postponed with no new date announced. The project, originally titled Battle of Galwan, has reportedly dropped all references to China after reshoots.
