The singer had been slated to appear at the university’s College of Tourism and Culture festival, but the student council announced her absence on social media.
Sources say Chungha is still receiving treatment at the hospital, and the festival organizers are working with her agency to secure a replacement artist. They issued an apology to students who were looking forward to the show, explaining that the cancellation was due to unforeseen circumstances.
Chungha first entered the spotlight in 2016 as a member of the girl group I.O.I after competing on Mnet’s audition show Produce 101. After the group disbanded, she launched a solo career that has seen significant success. She recently ended her three‑year partnership with MORE VISION, the agency founded by rapper Jay Park.
