Rashmika Mandanna, the Kannada‑Bollywood star with a massive fan base across India, is stepping into new territory with her upcoming film Mysaa, a first‑time, woman‑centric action thriller. The film’s teaser, unveiled before a large audience, showcases the journey of a tribal woman who seeks justice, leading to a series of high‑octane stunts and dramatic confrontations.
Director Rawinder Pulle praised the actress’s commitment, saying he feels fortunate to collaborate with someone who pushes the limits of her craft. In a candid interview, Rashmika revealed the physical challenges she has undertaken for authenticity: she endured eight hours underwater, walked barefoot across mountainous terrain while fully covered in mud, and performed a jump from a 90‑foot waterfall—despite her fear of heights. “I am putting my life on the line for Mysaa,” she said, adding that she would do anything to bring the director’s vision to life.
The pan‑India production, backed by producers Ajay Saipureddy, Anil Sayyapureddy and Veerasai Gopa, carries a high budget and promises a memorable cinematic experience. The makers have hinted at further revelations in the coming days, building anticipation for the film’s release on 27 November worldwide.
